Everglades
The Everglades took two days to look at, but you could spend much longer there. Very much like Kakadu, but much flatter. Alligators everywhere, including on the paths! The insect and bird life is tremendous, but the climate was extremely humid. It is very diverse, with grass flood plains, mahogany, cypress and mangroves. There are heaps of turkey vultures (who will even eat the rubber on your car) and the rare Roseate Spoonbill which has a similar colour to a flamingo.
