Yellowstone Landscapes

We have been surprised by the diversity in the landscapes and the weather. Lush meadows, canyons, forests and lovely rivers. The weather has included snow, rain, hail and sun (sometimes in the same hour). At Fishing Bridge we had a big snow storm overnight and woke to a scene like Christmas.

The birds are nesting, but very hard to capture on camera.

Yellowstone Animals

We have seen a huge array of animals of all sizes. Highlights would be seeing a coyote and badger cooperatively hunting, an elk chasing a wolf and all the young animals that are appearing. We have had bears, elk and bison causing traffic jams and even peoples dogs get into animal watching.
